Diaphragm Killers !!

Has sleeping become so unimportant so that you disturb others' sleep by playing loud music in the un-time much before dawn ?? I don't know well any particular law of justice prohibiting playing of loud music at 3 0' clock or 4 o' clock early in the morning, but I am sure there is one. Either the tea shop guy plays FM loud in his 5 in 1 speakers at 4 am, or the pilgrimage going guys play some devotional song with ear tearing decibels at 3 am. This happens mostly in the slums or nearby areas in Chennai. The pilgrimage season and the college students' semester exams come in the same set of months. Guys who're burning mid night oil to get safer scores in university exams suffer from this before-dawn-loud-music a lot. And what about the pregnant lady who's sleep is very important not only for her but also for the wonder inside...? Why would a pilgrimage group play such loud music at such an odd time, disturbing everyone's sleep in the locality ?? Did their God ask them to do this..? Is it like only if they disturb 100 sleeps per berfore-dawn they would be given blessings ?? All the disturbed people would curse these guys in their mind and what about that ?? So they get both the curse of humanity and the bless of God at the same time ??
And now let me tell about the 'cinema God' devotees...! Celebrating a single human being's Birthday (who has hardly given any socially good films) with giant screaming speakers, almost in all parts of the city and creating sound pollution disturbing everyone in the day time is totally a stupid act which uneducated fools do. And now the trend is even educated fools do that. This sound pollution issue stands first in the nuisance list of the 'Rasigar Mandrams'. And the 'cinema Gods' would not question this.
And then the functions in the community hall : first birthdays, marriage receptions, age attend ceremonies and all such stuff. Whatever happens in the community hall they would put two giant-size black rocks at the entrance, I mean the speakers, and blow the ears of the people driving or walking on the road off. Immatured social attitude.
Dude try to understand, the human diaphragm is made of just tissue, blood and skin. NOISE POLLUTION !! The RTI would be able to tell me who is the authority I should complaint to, to get people rid of these nuisances. But I don't think I would be the first person ever to complaint. There would have been hundreds who have done this before me.

Poor journalism, poor subjects..

I read a popular Tamil magazine regularly and few others occassionally. Last week I found the article of a cinema actress' article for four pages with full colour photos showing her exposing spaces and the pages were shining coated. And after a few pages I found a two page article which was a collection of 10 best poems (free verses) of a well talented young poet. All the ten verses were highly impressive. But these pages were printed in black and white and the pages were rough surfaces unlike the cinema actress' article's pages. The most irritating fact about the current Tamil magazines is that they give a lot of importance to hip showing actresses, junk cinema and useless interviews but they don't bother to give value and emphasis to good content and facts. A talented poet does not get even a good colour page article that the skin-showing actress gets. Same like the Tamil cinema, the Tamil magazines also have gone to the poor quality. When questioned about this they address policy as their 'marketing strategy'. Huh ! Excellent ! The respect on the press among the people is degrading. Journalism and journals have high responsiblities as much as the politicians but now they seem to have completely forgetten the word 'ethics'. I feel ashamed that these potential tamil journalsits are writing poor subjects that is hardly of any use to the society.

To the pretty girls of my land :

I am not against your modern attires, but against those over-exposing attires which keeps you alone comfortable (you say so) but embarrasses people around you. Its your freedom, you can wear such modern attires, but see to that you don't embarrass people looking at you, I mean your own friends. No offence. Even the conservative-type girls see the modern-dressed girls and get influenced wrongly and after a few weeks you can see those too wearing those crazy clothes. I say this because I care for the girls of my land. Wearing what's comfortable for you is not wrong, but exposing too much of your skin is really embarrasing.
